Gus and Ziggy Kish are still as passionate as ever about playing the violin and sharing their musical journey with the world. 🎻
This past summer was full of amazing experiences and musical adventures. The boys performed at a handful of farmers markets through the Children’s Entrepreneur Market program, and they officially signed up as Youth Entrepreneurs at their hometown weekend Farmers Market. They even took a special trip to Lowry’s Little Flock Farm in Jackson, where they had the best time performing and connecting with the community.
They also spent two weeks at the Adventures in Chamber Music Camp in Royal Oak, MI—and the biggest highlight of the summer was six incredible weeks with OHMI’s production of Les Misérables! Gus played violin in the orchestra pit, while Ziggy took the stage with several acting roles.
On top of all that, Gus officially became a teenager 🎉 and Ziggy upgraded to a bigger violin, marking another milestone in his journey.
As summer wraps up, the boys are excited to return to school and a full orchestra schedule.
Gus is now a member of four orchestras: Oxford Middle School Orchestra, OHMI Symphony Orchestra, DMYS String Orchestra, And OYO Philharmonic Orchestra (moving up this season!)
Ziggy is close behind, playing in three orchestras: OHMI Philharmonic Orchestra, DMYS Symphonia, and OYO Studio Strings Orchestra.
Both brothers are also signed up for Chorus and will continue taking piano lessons to grow their musical skills even further.
Through it all, Gus and Ziggy hope to keep their YouTube channel active during the school year with performances, raffles, and fun new video ideas for their growing fan base.
